[ Reluctantly, Norton grabs onto the rope and tugs. ]

[...okay so if we're going with dead girl pulley then the tug won't break the rope at all, but the risk is probably dislodging the poor girl from her resting place. It is possibly a genuine concern that the rope would just slip out from under or yank the body down considering Norton's weight, so.

I suppose the question is, does Norton want to deal with a girl's corpse falling down from above or no.]

So, Norton might be able to get a little ways up the rope (probably not any higher than a foot, really) before it's apparent that it's not quite that stable considering a dead corpse + some roof tiles are being used as the counterweight. Samidare's body may be a dead weight right now, but she's also lighter than Norton and the gutter isn't exactly huge, so.

She might be slipping over the side a little, oops.

On the plus side though, the rope is still intact!]
