Good Morning. Did you sleep well? It certainly feels like you have, perhaps too well, even for those who don't normally sleep. Maybe that's to be expected in this fairy tale, maybe it was only a matter of time.

[It's possible, but not an image that fits clearly for the scene before him. Still, something to keep in mind.

Also, something that's important that only really he can think about-how well wrapped was the body? Was it very neatly done, with the only thing standing out being the feet? Or was it more on the messy side? What's the story.]

[It was pretty well-wrapped in that the body was generally pretty well covered (and the cloth being big definitely helped on that front), but it wasn't folded particularly neatly or anything. It's kind of like when you know you gotta wrap that birthday present but you're kind of terrible at it so your goal is more to just cover that shit instead of making it look pretty.

Like, for example, where the ropes were tied, specifically where they made contact with the body.

Any marks that indicate she was pulled up post-mortem? Or, is there any sign that after death, she was wrapped and tied up and pulled onto the roof?]

The ropes weren't really tied per se; it's more that it was simply just wound around her body enough times that it wasn't really going to come loose with how her body was positioned. The end of the rope that didn't lead to the gutter and adze was generally just tucked under one of the loops, really.

Where exactly is Pericles looking for the marks? Just all around her torso or...?]

[That is giving him an even less pleasant image, but he already speculated it, so it doesn't surprise him.

If we go by the diagram, let's first check the arms. Might be the only place he'll check, depending on what he finds...]

[Well, this is probably also noticeable on the arms, but if Pericles checks the underside of the arms, he will find that there is some dark red discoloration generally on the side where her limb was touching the roof. With that said, there would also be some pale areas that aren't discolored and correspond to where the arm was laying on the ropes.]

Honestly, he was half expecting to not actually find anything here, so this is a bit of a surprise-especially since the rope wasn't really tied around Sami's body.

So, he'll be checking her torso-specifically the area near the stomach bruising since that's easier-and her legs, since he's pretty sure there's rope there too.]

[There's nothing near the stomach bruising beyond... well, the bruise. However, if he flips her over somehow, there's similar discoloration where she was lying on her back, with the exception of the areas where she was on the rope. The same dealio with the legs as the arms, really--only the underside of the legs has the discoloration, but where her legs would've been pressed up against the rope underneath, it remains pale.]

[Okay, this isn't what he thought, so his current theory still stands, but now this just raises more questions?? So, one question at the moment;

What kind of discoloration is this? Does it look more natural, akin to a rash, or artificial, like something rubbed off on Sami's skin?

[It looks natural! It looks a little similar to bruising because the color is pretty much the same purplish-red that you would find from that, but none of it's swollen like the bruising on Samidare's chest. It's definitely not something rubbed off on her skin though.]

[Alright, and just to make sure, this isn't any sort of sign of decay, right? Nothing that the parrot should know and the player wouldn't know?]

[It's not decay, but like. How much does the parrot know about postmortem changes?]

[Probably some of it? He's probably had thoughts on hybrids of humans at some point, and that requires biology knowledge, and that would probably lead to some knowledge about things that happen to bodies after death so...yeah, gonna say a bit, but not really an expert on it.]

[Alright! Well, the parrot may have heard the term livor mortis, which refers to the tendency of blood to be pulled down by gravity after death. So, this means it tends to pool at the lowest points of the body because... well, physics.]

[Okay, the parrot definitely learned about that even if the player didn't know what that actually was, so let's just say he had a brain fart for a moment about it and leave it at that.

Anything else to go over, or are we pretty much done with body touching?]
