Good Morning. Did you sleep well? It certainly feels like you have, perhaps too well, even for those who don't normally sleep. Maybe that's to be expected in this fairy tale, maybe it was only a matter of time.

[Right, well one thing to note on the way up the trellis is that it's not the most sturdy structure in the world here; William alone is fine, Koto alone is fine, but it would be readily apparent that having them both get on simultaneously would be asking for trouble (or a couple broken necks). In fact, William alone would be enough to warp the slats a little during the climb, so be careful on the way up.

As for the rooftop itself, no blood or anything like that, but there are a couple of places where the clay roofing tiles look like they were dislodged. One spot is closer to the east side of the roof, while the other spot is closer to where the body was found. Where to first?]

[ East side for starters then! She'll even investigate the surrounding tiles if they're hard to dislodge normally, like with her feet by kicking or nudging.]

[East side story it is, then! The tiles are actually not that difficult to dislodge, so her kicking at them would be enough to shift some of them around some.

On the east side though, she'll find that the tiles have only been dislodged and it was even enough to form a small hole in the roof that Koto can actually peek down through if she wants. Say hi to Raven in the attic?]

[ Is it really just a thin layer of tile on top? Dang. Okay thought let's get it out of her system. She peeks through and yells:

[ If that's all there is to east side story though, time for the body side tiles. Is the damage similar to east tiles or different? Also is there anything noteworthy besides that and uh... Body nearby. ]

[It's pretty much just a layer of tile at the top, yeah. The tiles themselves are decently thick at least, but you sure wouldn't really wanna go running around recklessly on the roof, that's for sure.

As for the body side, it's certainly similar in that some of the tiles have been shifted somewhat (although not enough to make a hole this time), but it's also pretty different in that there are actually some tiles here that are actually cracked or broken, with some smaller chips of clay and the like still chilling around the area.]

[ also because I'm dumb, how big was the first hole? Roof integrity is now a slight concern. The size question also applies to here: looking at the tiles that are cracked or broken, how big is that area and does it go under Samidare's body?

Even then! Is she allowed to take tiles for souvenirs by the way? One from the first displaced area, and one from here? ]

[The first hole was small! No need to worry about the roof's integrity, it was more like a linear gap between some tiles more than anything else. As long as Koto doesn't, say, go shoving her foot into it and kicking stuff around to widen it'll be fine. It's also a pretty big roof, so one small hole might cause issues for home insurance but not for the structural stability.

The second area is wider compared to the first area but it's not covering half of the roof or anything extreme like that. It's more like an area the size of a sewer grate or so--still relatively localized, but noticeably bigger. The area does not go under Samidare's body at the edge of the roof; the broken tiles are higher up, about halfway up the incline.

She can absolutely take some tiles as a souvenir, live your best life Koto!!!]
