[ There's no blood on the chisel or any other debris beside some dust. What is pretty apparent is that the point of said chisel has been sharpened with care. ]

[He'll definitely be sure to handle it with care when he picks it up, then! How heavy is it, by the way? Like, heavy enough that it'd be feasible for it to have made the hole? Or is there something else around that fits the bill more?]

[ It's not light but it's not super heavy. While it's theoretically feasible it could have made the hole, it's pretty unlikely.

As for the rest of the attic, there isn't anything else around that seems to fit that bill: the place is mostly empty aside from a few empty wooden boxes. ]

Aside from the hole and chisel, is there anything else out of place? Any other holes or cracks in the ceiling?]

[Looks like there isn't anything else out of place! But at least after all the investigating of the attic and roof area Raven will be able to tell everything about the way the inside of roofs in luxurious houses in France two centuries ago are like.
