1. The adze generally looks too narrow to make such a bruise on Samidare's stomach; the bruise is more round-ish in shape while the adze's head is more narrow.
2. Aside from the rope wrapped around the handle and the base of the head (which still leaves the curved metal part exposed), it doesn't look like it's been modified in any other way, nope! With that said, there's a few... brick-colored bits clinging to the curved tip.
3. It's designed as a one handed tool, so it's not that heavy at all. It's probably comparable to a larger hammer in terms of size and weight, but Koto shouldn't have any trouble carrying it around.]
