Well, she went back to being a beautiful queen after that, of course; given her preoccupation with appearance she was hardly going to stay in a disguise like that. She does try to kill her again, at her wedding to the prince, but she's stopped and forced to dance in red hot shoes until she dies.

...Most of these tales have a lot of very morbid aspects to them, actually.
